Canned Food











Hello☆

I ate canned food "Saba no mizuni( Mackerels boiled in water)" yesterday.

I don't like mackerels so much, but I love this one!
It has no bad smell, so it's easy to eat smoothly.
When I eat it, I feel I'm a cat every time :)
Youmay feel it, too. Please try it!
I recommend putting soy sauce on it.


I heard my mother use the extrta liquid of the can to make miso soup.
It's delicious! I can feel the soup base is fish.
But, I'm worried about additives(tenkabutsu) so that I seached it.


According to Japan Canners Association, even if food additives are used, they are safety.
It's no problem to use the extra liquid.
We can eat or drink it.









So...I thought of these ideas!

the extra syrup of fruits → sweets/desserts
the oil of tuna → instead of salad oil
the liquid of corn → into vegetable soup


Can you think of other ideas??


By the way, have you bought canned food at 100 yen shop?
There is a popular canned food there now.
I tried to buy it many times, it's sold out every time x(

I think canned food is easy to cook, and using it makes dishes delicious.
It keeps almost nutrition of pre-canned food.

  1. I like to use the syrup from canned fruit on my anin-dofu. It has better flavor than just sugar water. I've never thought about using the water from canned vegetables in my soup though. I bet that would taste really good.
